I am so thankful for the incredibly sweet cards, packages, treats, and messages I received on my birthday. Despite feeling very far away from many good friends and family, I felt insanely loved. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I wrote a new goal list and am excited to start working towards accomplishing as many as possible in the next year.
25 things to do before I turn 26:
1. Skill share in the Howley House
2. Go to Canada
3. Ride the incline
4. Document a whole day with a disposable camera
5. Learn to cable knit
6. Explore my new city
7. Try 52 new recipes
8. Visit the Warhol Museum
9. Move everyday: dance, walk, stretch, run, bike
10. Develop Upbeet!
11. Carve pumpkins
12. Visit a U-Pick farm each growing season
13. Make time for creative endeavors
14. Host a holiday party
15. Take a cooking class
16. Go camping
17. Travel with new friends
18. Buy a nice camera
19. Write a letter to someone I admire
20. Explore the city via the trail system
21. Grow a garden
22. Learn to let go (and then let go!)
23. Organize, declutter, purge
24. Volunteer with a youth-serving organization
25. Be brave
Some goals are much more ambitious than others, but I am excited to be more adventurous. Being in a new city with new friends helps break me out of my comfort zone too. There are lots of things to see, do, and learn. I am going to do my best to embrace that!
I guess this is what 25 looks like!
Feeling so thankful.
I can help you with number 19...just saying.
ReplyDeleteI should probably start writing now, so I can be finished by this time next year! ... ;)
DeleteCan we do 2 and 4 together? Maybe the same day!?
ReplyDeleteSounds fantastic!! I also left a disposable camera with Allison so that we can each document a "day in the life" and then send each other the duplicates.
Deletedocumenting TWO full days with TWO disposable cameras is wayyyy better than one day with one camera.
Let's do it! :)
